Monthly Membership Meeting , 7:45 pm, American Legion Hall, 1355 Balls Hill Road, McLean, Virginia. “Would you pay $10 for that?”. Four of our veteran flea market goers will be setting up mock flea market tables of old parts marked with fake prices…some will be good parts with fair prices, some will be junk, some will be real finds for the money! Not all of them will be obvious. You will have a few minutes to try to rank the parts from “best buy” to “worst junk”. After that our “salesman” will use the remaining time to give a more in-depth discussion of the items that are there. After everyone has had an opportunity to visit all the tables we will gather back together for a wrap-up discussion of what we learned. Each of our veterans has a little different perspective on what makes a good find so this session will hopefully give all our members an opportunity to swap ideas and pick up a little more bargain hunting savvy than they came with.
